Our ongoing Krav Maga program in Gilbert, AZ for teens and adults who want practical self-defense, progressive resistance, and a clear path to better skill.
This is where Krav Maga becomes a habit, not a one-time class. Teens and adults train side by side, co-ed, through varied problems, progressive pressure, and a level progression built on the same lineage Coach Joe was tested in himself: a 4th-degree black belt earned directly under GM Itay Gil.
This is our core, ongoing Krav Maga class, and it is co-ed. Teens and adults train in the same controlled co-ed environment, with partner selection and pressure scaled appropriately by the coach.
The value here is not that the class is deeper or more extreme. It is repetition, varied problems, progressive pressure, and decision-making over time. That is what turns a technique you can demonstrate into a skill you can access when your heart rate goes up.
New students usually begin in Krav Foundations, the beginner on-ramp. If you start directly in this class instead, a coach pairs you with an appropriate partner, walks you through the day's material, and scales the pressure to where you are. Either way, you are never thrown into anything you are not ready for.
Some assaults involve weapons, confined spaces, or more than one person. The curriculum does not assume ideal conditions.
Learn principles and responses for edged, blunt, and firearm threats, as appropriate to your level.
Learn movement, positioning, escape priorities, and decision-making when the problem is not one-on-one.
Protect yourself, create space, and get back to your feet when possible, rather than staying on the ground and hoping.
Resistance increases as your technique and composure improve, so what you learn holds up when your heart rate spikes.
Always know the next skill standard you are working toward, in the same level system Coach Joe was tested in himself under GM Itay Gil.
Leave the gi at home. Athletic clothes and a water bottle are all you need for your first session.
You will be paired with a partner and coached through the day's material, whether it is your first class or your hundredth.
This is a class you build a routine around. Your 14 days for $14 gives you two full weeks to feel that for yourself.
