[01] Straight answers before your first class

Starting Krav Maga? Here Is What Most People Want To Know.

Straight answers about beginners, fitness, contact, the $14 trial, pricing, and choosing the right program. Krav Maga at Next Level is for teens and adults, and you can start at your current fitness level.

[02]Before You Decide

The questions that actually decide it.

01 Which program should I start with?+

If you are new to self-defense, start with Krav Foundations. If you want ongoing practical self-defense, Krav Teen/Adults is the core class. If you want fitness plus striking skill, choose Clinch Dirty Boxing. If you want privacy, faster correction, or a flexible schedule, look at Private Training. Krav Accelerated and Krav Elite are qualification-based and begin with a call. Not sure? Tell us what you want to change on the contact page and we will point you to the right first step.

02 I have zero experience. Will I be behind?+

No. Krav Foundations is built for people with no martial arts background. A coach shows you the movement first, pairs you appropriately, and increases resistance only as your skill improves.

03 I am out of shape or older. Should I get fit first?+

No. Most teens and adults can start at their current fitness level. The conditioning comes from the training itself, and every session is scaled to where you are.

04 Something happened and I am nervous about training. What are my options?+

You are welcome here, and you set the pace. You do not have to tell the whole story to start, and you do not have to prove anything in your first class. We can help you choose an appropriate partner and pace, and if a group room is not the right first step, Private Training gives you more control over the environment.

05 Do I have to spar or get hit right away?+

No. Training is progressive and controlled. You learn the movement first, then pressure and resistance increase as your technique and composure improve. You are never thrown into anything you are not ready for.

06 Are the classes co-ed?+

Yes. Our classes are co-ed. Men and women train in the same classes, with partner selection and pace controlled by the coach. There is no separate women-only class.

[03]The Trial, Pricing & Logistics

The trial, pricing, and logistics.

01 What happens during the 14-day trial?+

Fourteen days of live classes for fourteen dollars, a $129 training value based on our current month-to-month membership rate. We schedule your first class, you learn the room and the class flow in week one, and you use week two to decide whether the coaching, culture, schedule, and training style fit you. There is no contract and no obligation at the end.

02 Which programs are included in the trial?+

Krav Foundations, Krav Teen/Adults, Women's Self-Defense (within the regular co-ed classes), and Clinch Dirty Boxing. Krav Accelerated and Krav Elite begin with a qualification call instead of the trial. Private Training has its own 50% off first-lesson offer.

03 How much does membership cost?+

Pricing depends on the program and the schedule you choose, so we text you the current options instead of posting one number that fits nobody. Use the pricing page, or call 480-360-5425 for a straight answer. Terms range from month-to-month up to twelve months, and you choose your term after the trial.

04 What should I wear or bring to my first class?+

Comfortable workout clothes and a water bottle are all you need for your first class. No gear or uniform is required to get started, and we will let you know when it makes sense to invest in equipment like handwraps and gloves.

05 Do you offer Private, Accelerated, and Elite training?+

Yes. Private Training is one-on-one coaching with a 50% off first-lesson offer. Krav Accelerated is a qualification-based small-group fast track through the core curriculum. Krav Elite is advanced application and decision-making for qualified, experienced students. Accelerated and Elite both begin with a qualification call.

06 What ages do you train?+

Krav Maga at Next Level is built for teens and adults. Younger children train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through Gracie Humaita Gilbert at the same academy. See our Kids BJJ page for the hand-off to their site.

07 Where are you located, and is there parking?+

We're at 2531 S Gilbert Rd, Ste 111, Gilbert, AZ 85295, serving Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, and Queen Creek. Call us at 480-360-5425 if you need directions or have questions about parking.

08 Do I have to sign a contract?+

Not to start. The 14-day trial has no contract and no obligation. If you continue, you choose a term from month-to-month up to twelve months, after you have actually trained here.

[04]The 14-Day Trial
